Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers restore lost volume and smooth out wrinkles. Over time, dermal fillers can begin to stimulate the body’s own production of collagen and elastin to generate a long lasting effect.

We stock the highest quality fillers that are safe and long lasting. These include Juvederm, Perfectha, Radiesse, Profhilo and Teosyal. The skin condition and area to be treated will largely dictate the filler we use.

As we age, the level of hyaluronic acid in our skin depletes and fat redistributes. This causes the skin to lose volume and begin to sag, creating wrinkles. Dermal fillers restore lost volume and smooth out wrinkles. Over time, dermal fillers can begin to stimulate the body’s own production of collagen and elastin to generate a long-lasting effect. We stock the highest quality fillers that are safe and long lasting. These include Juvederm, Perfectha, Radiesse, Profhilo and Teosyal. The skin condition and area to be treated will largely dictate the filler we use.

Dermal fillers are traditionally used to plump an area in which volume has been lost, for example the cheeks or lips. The hyaluronic acid in the dermal filler binds to water and create a ‘plumping’ effect.

We will work with you to create the look you are searching for.

Naturally-derived fillers (the most widely known is hyaluronic acid) have a much smaller risk of causing an allergic reaction but reactions can occur. Results are immediate but will only last from just three to 18 months (occasionally up to two years) because the filler eventually breaks down, taking the results, for better or worse, with it. Once the filler starts to dissipate you need to go back in and get more filler injected to maintain results. Most people who get fillers will need at least one follow-up injection within a year.

Aside from allergic reactions, fillers also have risks of lumping and migration, although this happens infrequently. On the other hand, because the results last a short period of time so do the potential problems.

Are fillers natural?

We use Radiesse, Perfectha or Redensity depending on what area is being treated. All of these fillers come from a naturally-derive source.

As you age, the level of hyaluronic acid in your skin depletes, collagen starts to diminish, and the elastin fibres lose their elasticity and bang you start to look old and withered.

There are many myths about fillers, having fillers actually puts back the lost hyaluronic acid into your skin, stimulates the collagen and strengthens the elastin fibres making the skin look wow and youthful again.

Fillers are very versatile and can give a lift to your mouth when it starts to droop, smooth smoker’s lines and lift cheeks when they start to go down south.

We have perfected our skills over 10 years with a range of fillers to find out which filler performs the best for the look and the area you want.

Lip fillers are a massive trend at the moment, whilst big lips are requested by younger girls, we think the best look is when an older lady that is losing volume in her lips has a soft filler put in just to give the lips a good shape removes the lines and makes them look youthful again.

We use these leading brands of fillers in combination to give you the best result. The skin condition and area we are treating will largely dictate the filler we use on you.

Cheek Enhancement

Volumising the cheeks with fillers can really give an instant youthful look. We use the best brands such as Juvederm Voluma, Radiesse, Revolax SubQ. Most of the cheek fillers are cross linked and therefore last up to 18 months.

Tear Trough

We have 3 treatment options for the delicate tear trough area. If the tear trough has a dark appearance we can use Xela Electri, which is a blend of hyaluronic and succinic acid, alternatively we can use Teosyal Redensity I to brighten and lighten the tear trough.

We use a delicate 4mm needle to minimise any risk of bruising.

If the tear trough is hollow and needs smoothing, we recommend Boletero balance or Redensity II, however there is some puffiness sometimes for a few weeks until the product settles, this is due to the thinness of the skin under the eye.

Lip Fillers

We use the latest lip filler Revolax and our all-time favourite Juvederm for lip fillers. Whilst both give a really smooth, even result, we find that the Revolax lasts a lot longer than Juvederm and works out better value for money.

Jaw Lift(with filler)

We have 3 options for treating the jaw area, and which option we take depends on a case by case basis.

  • For saggy skin due to volume loss, we recommend Radiesse, Subskin or Revolax SubQ that will put the volume back into the skin.
  • Profhilo turns creapy, old skin into young and smooth looking skin.
  • However, if the jaw is sagging due to the skin losing elasticity, Botulinum toxin is a better option as it will tighten and lift the jaw, which the fillers cannot do.
